Adoption of Model Bye Laws
In 1990, the IIPA, New Delhi approved the Model Bye Laws of the Regional Branches in the light of the experience gained from the functioning of the Branches. In accordance with this decision, the Model Bye Laws of the IIPA, Karnataka Regional branch were adopted in the Special General Body Meeting held in February 1990 and the first office bearers and members of the Executive Committee were elected under the new Bye Laws in the General Body Meeting held on 12th September 1990.
Thereafter, the office bearers and the members of the Executive Committee have been elected for a two-year term in the Annual General Meetings. Meetings of the Executive Committee have been regularly held and decisions taken for organizing workshops, seminars and lectures. A large number of workshops, seminars and lectures have been organized during the last twenty-five years.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕಶಾಖೆ
1954 ರಲ್ಲಿಐಐಪಿಎ, ನವದೆಹಲಿಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾದಮೂರುವರ್ಷಗಳನಂತರ, ಐಐಪಿಎಯಮೈಸೂರುಸ್ಥಳೀಯಶಾಖೆಯನ್ನುಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 1957 ರಲ್ಲಿರಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದನ್ನುಅಂದಿನಮೈಸೂರುರಾಜ್ಯದಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಶ್ರೀ. ಎಸ್.ನಿಜಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪರವರುಜುಲೈ 1957 ರಲ್ಲಿಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕಶಾಖೆಯಾಗಿಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ಆಫ್ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ಅಡ್ಮಿನಿಸ್ಟ್ರೇಷನ್ನಕರ್ನಾಟಕಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕಶಾಖೆಯನ್ನುಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 13, 1957 ರಂದುಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಗಳು, ವಿಚಾರಸಂಕಿರಣಗಳು, ಸೆಮಿನಾರ್ಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳು, ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳುಮತ್ತುಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಮೂಲಕಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕಆಡಳಿತದಕುರಿತುಚರ್ಚೆಮತ್ತುಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯನ್ನುಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದುಮತ್ತುಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವುದುಶಾಖೆಯಪ್ರಮುಖಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.
1990 ರವರೆಗೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕಶಾಖೆಸೇರಿದಂತೆಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕಶಾಖೆಗಳಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರುಮತ್ತುತಮ್ಮಪದನಿಮಿತ್ತಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿರಾಜ್ಯದಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಮತ್ತುಮುಖ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ರಚನಾತ್ಮಕವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ IIPA ನೊಂದಿಗೆಅವರಒಡನಾಟವುಶಾಖೆಗಳಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆಪೂರಕತೆಯನ್ನುನೀಡುವಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿಮತ್ತು IIPA ಯಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನುನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಲುಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

1990 ರವರೆಗೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಸರ್ಕಾರದಮುಖ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳುಪದನಿಮಿತ್ತಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಶಾಖೆಯಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ದಿವಂಗತಶ್ರೀಗಳುಶಾಖೆಗೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನುನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಬಹುದು. T. R. ಸತೀಶ್ಚಂದ್ರನ್, IAS (ನಿವೃತ್ತ) ಅವರು 1984 ರಿಂದ 1987 ರವರೆಗೆ IIPA-KRB ನಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
